Here is some really terrible quality video of my current project, Four Flexpickers. I wanted to take some video and share this now because I am getting ready to partially take it apart to do some upgrades to get ready for Brickworld Chicago this year.

Great, as if you look at a real production enviroment.
ReplyDeleteRgds
Peter
is one of your mods to add a fifth picker? (listen to your wife! :p )
ReplyDeleteI bet you have a Bricklink store that has the parts that I need, don't you??? Anything to make a sale... ;)
ReplyDeleteI need about $200 more in sensors and parts to accomplish that.
And don't worry, I have already spent a few hours going thru my inventory to see if I could make it happen.
I really like your flexpickers ;)
ReplyDeletebtw could you use some of my code?
and I really really really need to buy more bricks when i look at this monster setup ^^
Luke, Thanks. Flexpickers have been my focal project for a few years now, so I have hundreds of hours perfecting them.
ReplyDeleteI have my code where I want it to be right now, but thanks for the offer. I use a kinematic formula to calculate the positioning and it works great, plus I have programmed the arms to move the end effector in a straight line which is tricky too.
Actually, the problem I am having now is how do I keep 4 flexpickers busy. I have to put bricks on the conveyor belt really fast.
I have been buying Lego for about 20 years now, so I have quite a collection. I hope you can find the pieces that you need.
